How insurance works

We offer insurance cover to protect your items in the unlikely event of damage during collections, returns, transportation and storage duration, this means that in the unlikely event of damage to your items during collection, returns, transport and whilst in storage. This cover will be for the current value of your items. Please note that a £100 excess does apply.

Insurance with easyStorage is not compulsory but we are inexpensive and we do recommend it, in most cases home insurance will not cover items whilst away from home. If you choose to use another insurance provider, you must ensure that you specify the exact address of where the items will be stored. (This must be organised and confirmed with our team at the time of booking.)

Only you will have a clear idea of the value of your items, however, on average our customers tend to choose insurance cover of £4000 per Pod (the Essential plan.)
